Waters Edge Estate is the quintessential venue for weddings, offering peace and tranquillity just 20 minutes from the CBD of Perth. With long sweeping views of the Swan River, a variety of function rooms and a large selection of menus to choose from, Waters Edge Estate is perfect for that special day.

Established in 1830, this historic site, now known as Waters Edge Estate, produced Western Australia’s very first vintages. The building stands on the prime waterfront location of what was once a colonial land grant, given to one Thomas Waters, a botanist who arrived on one of the first fleets to Western Australia.

Today, Waters Edge Estate boasts the original cellar; an underground restaurant & function room the Riverview Room ideal for weddings & special occasions, plus the Rose Terrace, ever popular for ceremonies and pre reception drinks. Situated on the banks of the stunning Swan River, Waters Edge offers access by road or water & is undoubtedly one of Perth’s most unique & attractive venues.

Surrounding the main buildings are acres of well-kept lawns and gardens providing exquisite views and ideal photographic surroundings.

Riverview Room

As the name suggests, stunning views of the gardens and river are a feature of this sunny, elevated area, which also has a delightful wrap-around veranda and a traditional dance floor.

Rose Terrace

This alfresco area linked to the Riverview Room offers stunning views of the river and is surrounded by beautiful rose gardens. Perfect for ceremonies or even a pre reception drinks.

The Restaurant Room

Located within the original stone wine cellar of the historic property, the Restaurant room has wonderful ambience and an alfresco courtyard facing the river.
